Try This Cardio Workout Instead Today

Cardio is really just performing at a level that you can do for an extended period of time.

The first examples to jump to our minds are jogging, the elliptical, or bike.

Sure those are great ways to do cardio, but there is a whole other world out there that you may be missing and would enjoy more.

Plus as you can see with this workout, very little equipment is needed if at all.

So let’s get down to the dirty…

For this workout all you need is a kettlebell or dumbell and your arms.

KB Swing/Push-up workout

This workout will consist of 8 rounds alternating back and forth between the kettlebell swing and pushup.

In the first minute you will perform 15 kettlebell swings.  Whatever amount of time you have left after performing 15 swings will be used as rest.  So if you finish your swings in 25 seconds, then you have 35 seconds to rest.

At the start of the second minute, you will perform 10 strict pushups.  Once all 10 pushups are completed, rest the remainder of the time.

Third round, kettlebell swings again, fourth round, pushups and keep repeating until 8 total rounds are finished.

This should start out easy but by the end and the accumulation of total work, your heart rate should be up and breaking a sweat.
