Do You Even Read, Bro? 3/6/16

Good Sunday Morning all,

It was a late night last night for me, for those who know me and read this blog, know that I am a fan of mixed martial arts.  With big fights last night in the UFC 196 event, it was a very fun and exciting time.  The thing that made the fights so great for me was how jiu jitsu ended the fights against very talented strikers.  I am a ground game guy and seeing a technical submission get pulled off for a tap gets me more excited than a knockout.  Basic RNC chokes were the tool of choice for the night. If you don’t train jiu jitsu start today.

Speaking of which, it’s been two months since I trained jiu jitsu and I have been feeling the itch.  I’ve spent the past few months doing Crossfit and Olympic weightlifting and juggling all three, well there just isn’t enough hours in the day (along with putting the time in to help my clients get successful results)  As summer approaches and I can reign my schedule in I plan on getting back on the mat and work towards my next promotion.
