Do You Even Read, Bro? 2/14/16

It’s been a while since I put out a Do You Even Read, Bro?.  I figured it was time to share some fitness knowledge from some great coaches that you can learn from.  You can never learn enough and I can only write so much myself.

3 Mobility Drills for Solid Overhead Lifts – Keira Newton, Breaking Muscle  – These drills are great for anyone, even if you do not lift weights overhead.  Once you lose range of motion in the shoulder to reach overhead, other issues begin to arise.

Progression Takes More Than Adding Weight to the Bar -Eric Weinbrenner – There is more than one way to “skin a cat” and more than one way to stimulate a muscle without more weight.  I would say the first thing to do is slow down the movement.  Most people lift to quickly to begin with, so lifting with a slower tempo will actually probably make you drop the weight down and still be feeling it the next day.

Four Tips to Build an Athletic Body – Eric Bach – If you want to look like an athlete then train like one.  Plus your body will move a lot better as well!
