Do You Even Read, Bro? 11/23/15

This week the official holiday season will be unleashed on us and some of us will make it out still intact and others will have lost and abandoned all hope in their fitness goals until after the new year.  I agree starting a fitness program at this time of year is definitely challenging, but be honest with yourself, it will be hard at anytime of the year.  There will always be things to celebrate and fun to be had.  It is about learning how to control yourself the other times when you are not celebrating your having fun, so that you can enjoy a holiday meal without feeling the guilt.

Use this time of year to practice a little discipline and say no to that extra dessert or pass on the constant barrage of Christmas cookies.  You may find with saying no a few times instead of yes all of the time, you may keep your weight in check or possible lose a few pounds.  Of course, exercising during the holidays will make the probability even better.

If it was easy, everyone would do it!!!!

Forming little habits now in the face of the battle will make it much easier after the dust of the holidays settles and the new year resolutions start to be made.
