My name is Kevin Fulton. I am a personal fitness trainer in Pittsburgh, Pa. I am certified through the American Council on Exercise. What To Expect When Training With Me...
Initial Cardio-Respiratory Test and Musculo-skeletal Screen
I’ll run you through a sub-max cardio-respiratory screen to measure your current cardio level and make sure that your body is reacting normally to an increase in intensity, i.e. heart rate, blood pressure, perceived exertion
The musculo-skeletal screen will test your joint range of motion, muscle endurance, and posture screen. From this information I will create a soft-tissue release program for you to use with me and at home to get your body feeling it’s best.
I will create a soft-tissue release program for you to use at home. I have found with many clients that a little soft-tissue work can go along way in getting rid of nagging aches and pains along with decreasing your risk of injury. I will educate you on how to release and stretch your tight muscles so you can take care of tight muscles as they pop up in normal everyday life.
A strong body is built on a foundation of stability. We will spend time go over proper posture and form that is expected as you perform exercise movements. To make sure you have the strength to maintain a solid foundation, we cover our 3 areas of stabilization; the scapulo-thoracic, core, and glutes. I will assess and see your current strength in these three areas and work to bring your body back into balance.

What is your goal? To get stronger, lose fat, or just be able to play with your kids without getting winded? My goal is to keep you doing what you love, no matter what that is. Whether you love to play golf, dance, swim, your body needs to be taken care of in your own special way. Let me design a program for you that will help you get better at whatever you enjoy doing.
Whether your goal is to lose fat, build muscle, or just maintain where you are currently, I can help. I will educate you on what certain foods do, how to build a complete meal, make healthier choices and what caloric and macronutrient numbers to shoot for to hit your goals. Improve the way you feel by getting control of what you eat.
A Training Experience Full of Variety
My goal is to not only teach you as much as I can about health and fitness but for you to enjoy it along the way. Doing the same workout time and time again can get boring. I like to keep you challenged by varying your exercises up and keeping your body reacting to something new. Even the smallest adjustment can bring a whole new dimension to a rather basic exercise.
